Road Travel

If you arrive by car, here are a few tips:

Information Center of the Motoring Association of Slovenia (AMZS) provides information on road conditions (tel: (01) 530 53 00, from 5.00 a.m. to 9.00 p.m.) and road assistance (tel: 1987, 24 hour/day service).

Buses

Unless you rent a car, the best way to travel in the region is by bus. Bus schedules are posted at most bus stops. Remember the following notations:

V (vsak dan) = every day P (prazniki) = Holiday
S (sobota) = Saturday š (v dneh šolskega pouka) = on schools days
N (nedelja) = Sunday "Od ponedeljka do petka" or D*= Monday through Friday

To Ljubljana through Radovljica and Kranj:
from 5.00 to 20.30 o'clock at half past every hour, exceptions are 11.40 bus and additional buses at 5.00, 14.05, 18.00 every day and 21.30 on Sundays and Holidays.
